Bancone brings beautiful, everyday pasta to central London: Head Chef Louis will combine the flair of his Locanda Locatelli training with exquisite and modern Italian dishes using the best of British produce
Bancone is the very exciting new launch from William Ellner and David Ramsey and will open on William IV street in central London at the end of May – just moments away from Trafalgar Square. Bancone promises beautiful fresh pasta dishes, alongside hyper-seasonal, simple small plates for sharing or for solo diners. An inviting bar will cater for leisurely aperiviti and cicchetti, and the vibe will be bright, fresh, and modern, complete with living walls and glass cabinets for drying pasta.
Chef Louis Korovilas stands proudly at the Bancone helm. His CV glitters with credentials: namely Locanda Locatelli, where he received Michelin-starred training under Giorgio Locatelli and where he honed both his pasta skills as well as love of beautiful Italian ingredients. He has also sharpened his knives at Pied à Terre, as well as at various supper clubs, where he was able to practise cooking the dishes he really loves. www.bancone.co.uk
